The staff at Margaret Landell Elementary School is dedicated to providing enriched learning opportunities that emphasize the focus of our educational program – Innovate, Create, and Articulate. Teachers endeavor to help our students develop deep conceptual understanding, apply their learning through real-world experiences, and effectively communicate both their solutions and their solution pathways when solving problems. We encourage our students to try their best, take risks, employ a growth mindset, and even have some fun! The nurturing and supportive environment we provide at Landell propels our students academically and supports their social-emotional development. Building an inclusive and welcoming school climate is a major area of emphasis at Landell, and we strive daily to cultivate a safe and positive learning environment for all students. Our P.A.W.S. values of Positive attitudes, Acting responsibly, Working and playing safely, and Showing respect are taught, practiced, and recognized daily. This emphasis on developing student character is strengthened by the strong partnership that exists between school and home. Landell families are highly involved in all aspects of their children's education and serve as role models for our little Leopards. Their tireless efforts to support our programs enable us to provide unique learning opportunities for all students. I am honored that the Landell community takes such great pride in our school and is so deeply committed to the success of our students. It is truly my privilege to serve as principal and partner each day with such dedicated individuals.
